Leviton Announces New Patch Cord Options to Reduce Jobsite Waste
GREENPACK™ Bulk Packs in Sustainably Smart Packaging eliminate plastic packaging

Leviton has announced that their Cat 6A High Flex Patch Cords are now available in a convenient and sustainable GREENPACK bulk pack, featuring new Sustainably Smart Packaging. The new GREENPACK packaging option reduces installation time and cost, while also eliminating single-use plastic jobsite waste.

Combined with Sustainably Smart Packaging, this is the latest reinforcement of our commitment to simplifying jobsite activities for contractors and protecting the environment by reducing single-use plastics and minimizing overall waste.”

Key benefits of the new Cat 6A High Flex Patch Cord GREENPACK Sustainably Smart Packaging include:
- Reducing 30,000 pounds of plastic per year in jobsite waste with fully recyclable cartons, bulk packs and no single-use plastics
- Environmentally responsible box materials are 100% kraft paper printed with eco-friendly, soy-based inks and minimal ink coverage
- Packaging is designed for smarter installation with perforated windows for easy product identification, hand holes for easy transit and information entry fields on the box
- GREENPACK bulk packs save an estimated 75 minutes of installation time per 1,000 cords
Leviton Cat 6A High Flex patch cords, with a new compact plug and boot, were launched in June 2021. Their increased flexibility eases installation and maintenance, and require less space for bend radius, making them an ideal solution for smart building applications, WAP connectivity and other IoT deployments. With a dual rating, they are designed for Low Smoke Zero Halogen and CM applications in all regions of the world. They are designed to be universal, allowing the same cord to work in both shielded and UTP channels.
Cat 6A High Flex Patch Cord GREENPACKS are available in the USA, Canada and Latin America.
