NOARK Advances Sustainable Packaging Across Its Low-Voltage Product Portfolio

As sustainability continues to shape the future of the electrical industry, manufacturers are looking beyond product performance to reduce their environmental impact. At NOARK Electric, they’re proud to announce a significant step forward in their sustainability journey with the rollout of environmentally friendly packaging across their complete line of low-voltage products. The initiative is driven by global sustainability goals and aligns with the European Union’s Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).

Why Sustainable Packaging Matters

Packaging plays a critical role in protecting products during transportation and storage, but it also contributes significantly to waste. By redesigning their packaging with recyclable materials, simplified printing, and improved recycling identification, NOARK is helping customers reduce waste while supporting a more circular economy.

These changes reflect their ongoing commitment to delivering innovative electrical solutions responsibly.

What’s Changing?

The packaging upgrade focuses on two key areas:

  1. A Cleaner, More Sustainable Look

NOARK is introducing a refreshed packaging design that uses:

  • Natural kraft board for inner cartons
  • Flexographic printing, which reduces environmental impact compared to traditional printing methods
  • Simplified layouts on outer cartons, wooden crates, and pallets
  • Optimized shipping and recycling symbols for improved clarity and compliance

The result is packaging that is not only more environmentally friendly but also cleaner, more consistent, and easier to identify throughout the supply chain.

  • Environmentally Friendly Packaging Materials
  • Beyond the cartons themselves, NOARK has upgraded many of the supporting packaging materials, including:
  • Pallets
  • Cushioning materials
  • Plastic bags
  • Protective packaging components

These materials now utilize environmentally friendly alternatives and include standardized recycling markings to support proper disposal and recycling.

What Customers Can Expect

The new packaging will be introduced gradually beginning June 1, 2026. During the transition period, customers may receive products in either the current packaging or the new environmentally friendly packaging as existing inventory is depleted.

The transition is expected to continue for approximately one year.

What’s Not Changing?

While the packaging is evolving, the products inside remain exactly the same.

Customers can expect:

  • The same high-quality NOARK products
  • No changes to installation dimensions
  • No changes to storage or transportation requirements
  • No changes to product performance or safety

Only the packaging appearance, materials, and recycling features have been updated.

Supporting Sustainability Without Compromising Quality

This packaging initiative demonstrates that sustainability and product quality can go hand in hand. By reducing the environmental footprint of their packaging while maintaining the reliability customers expect, NOARK continues to invest in solutions that benefit both their customers and the planet.

As environmental regulations evolve and businesses place greater emphasis on sustainability, initiatives like this help make responsible choices easier throughout the supply chain.

Looking Ahead

Sustainability is an ongoing journey. NOARK remains committed to developing products and business practices that support a greener future while delivering the dependable electrical solutions their customers rely on every day.

The new environmentally friendly packaging is one more step toward building a more sustainable electrical industry—without compromising the quality, performance, or reliability that define the NOARK brand.
