A New Generation of HARTING Configurators – Launching April 2026

In April 2026, HARTING will introduce a new generation of configurators, designed to make configuration even easier, faster, and more transparent.

A proven experience. Now more efficient, more transparent, and more intuitive.

For many years, HARTING configurators have supported customers and partners worldwide in configuring reliable connectivity solutions quickly and accurately. They have long been valued for providing confidence through guided, error-reducing configuration, while enabling users to reach a suitable solution efficiently—even without deep technical expertise. They are an integral part of efficient project planning, from initial idea to final documentation.

In April 2026, HARTING will introduce a new generation of configurators, designed to make configuration even easier, faster, and more transparent. Building on everything users already trust, the new generation focuses on improving daily workflows and supporting confident decision-making – even for complex configurations.

The key improvements at a glance

The new generation introduces targeted enhancements that improve efficiency, transparency, and usability across the entire configuration process.

Accelerate your configuration workflow
The new generation of configurators supports a faster and more efficient configuration process by streamlining key steps and reducing complexity throughout the workflow. Clear guidance, improved structure, and enhanced functionality help users progress more quickly through configurations, making it easier to arrive at a complete and reliable result.

Make confident decisions with full transparency and deeper insights
All configuration steps, system decisions, and required components are clearly visible throughout the entire process, creating a high level of transparency and understanding. Enhanced 3D visualization further supports decision-making by providing deeper insight into the configured solution. New features such as measurements and additional visual views help users better assess dimensions, spatial relationships, and technical details, increasing confidence when validating and finalizing configurations.

Experience a modern, intuitive interface and more flexible configuration
A modern, intuitive interface with a clear structure improves orientation and makes configuration tasks easier to understand from the very first step. Improved usability reduces complexity and supports confident interaction, even in more demanding configuration scenarios. At the same time, the new configurators enable greater flexibility within the configuration process, allowing users to work efficiently across different stages of their project and to access configurations reliably across different devices.

Smooth transition for existing configurations

To ensure continuity and planning security, the transition will be handled step by step.

After the launch of the new generation configurators in April 2026, both the current and the new configurators will be available until mid-May 2026. After that, the previous generation will be deactivated. You can use this transition period to familiarize yourself with the new configurators and, if needed, recreate configurations using the improved workflow.

From June 2026, all configurations created with the previous generation will remain accessible via myHARTING and can continue to be viewed at any time, used as a bill of materials, and downloaded for documentation and follow-up purposes – but can no longer be loaded into the configurator.

Ready for the next step in digital configuration

With the new generation of configurators, HARTING takes the next step in digital product configuration – enhancing what has proven successful and setting new standards for usability, transparency, and performance.
