IFS PROFIsafe Gateway for the Easy Network Integration of up to 15 Motor Starters

The IFS PROFIsafe Gateway from Phoenix Contact makes it easy to integrate network-compatible motor starters into PROFIsafe networks and use them in safety applications.

You can use the IFS PROFIsafe Gateway to integrate up to 15 motor starters intuitively into your network. The device allows safe switching of the enable inputs and saves I/Os in the control level. The economical solution for the interface level offers safe shutdown of motor starters through safe outputs and comes with a space-saving design of just 45 mm wide.

Additional advantages included the flexible extension options with further I/Os, along with fast configuration, condition monitoring, and diagnostics via automation software and the clipx ENGINEER Device Parameterization Tool. The Interface System (IFS) bus connection also saves network addresses.
