Flir Expands Test and Measurement Portfolio with Four New Meterlink-Connected Tools for Field Professionals
New solutions for electrical, EV charging, and HVAC professionals combine advanced testing with connected
mobile reporting

Teledyne FLIR, part of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, recently announced four new additions to its test and measurement portfolio: the Flir EV86-NACS and EV86-T2 EV Charger Analyzers, Flir DM266 Compact Thermal Imaging Multimeter, and Flir EM57 Thermo-Hygrometer.

Designed for professionals across electrical, EV charging, HVAC, building diagnostics, and maintenance applications, these new tools combine specialized measurement capabilities with Flir Meterlink® connectivity for faster more efficient testing and reporting. This connectivity makes it easier to turn field measurements
into actionable results.

“Professionals need tools that not only provide accurate measurements but also make it easier to turn those measurements into actionable information,” said Heliel Morales, Business Development Director for Condition Monitoring at Teledyne Flir. “These new products combine purpose-built testing capabilities with Meterlink connectivity to help simplify workflows from measurement through reporting.”

The Flir EV86-NACS and EV86-T2 provide comprehensive safety and performance testing for AC EV charging stations in residential and commercial environments. The EV86-NACS supports Level 1 and Level 2 chargers with an integrated NACS socket, while the EV86-T2 supports Modes 1, 2 and 3 chargers with an integrated Type 2 socket.

Both models feature Protective Earth pre-testing, Control Pilot simulation and waveform analysis, CCID performance verification (EV86-NACS) RCD performance (EV86-T2), error simulation, and low-impedance measurement.

Smarter Electrical Troubleshooting

The Flir DM266 Compact Thermal Imaging Multimeter with Meterlink combines True RMS electrical measurement with Infrared Guided Measurement (IGM™) and multi-spectral dynamic thermal imaging (MSX®) to help professionals quickly identify and diagnose electrical issues. VFD mode, an included remote control, integrated hands-free mounting, and IR Super Resolution up to 320 × 240 provide added flexibility for demanding inspections.

Environmental Insight for HVAC Professionals

The Flir EM57 Thermo-Hygrometer with Meterlink provides precise temperature and humidity measurements for HVAC service, commissioning, building inspections, and moisture-related applications. Instant dew point and wet bulb calculations help professionals evaluate comfort, HVAC performance, condensation risk, and humidity conditions.

One Connected Workflow

Whether diagnosing electrical problems, testing EV charging infrastructure, or measuring environmental conditions, the new Flir Test and Measurement solutions combine purpose-built tools with Meterlink connectivity to simplify the workflow from measurement to report.
