Endress+Hauser’s New iTHERM ModuLine Industrial Thermometers Are Engineered for Simplicity, Safety and Performance
Endress+Hauser‘s iTHERM ModuLine, its latest generation of modular thermometers for industrial applications, is designed to reduce complexity and achieve simplicity, with unparalleled performance and safety.

Endress+Hauser announces the complete lineup of iTHERM ModuLine, the latest generation of modular thermometers for industrial applications, is inow available in Canada. This innovative product line aims to reduce complexity and achieve simplicity, with unparalleled performance and safety. Comprised of only seven models, ModuLine is designed to replace over 50 legacy models offered by Endress+Hauser in the industrial realm.

iTHERM ModuLine thermometers are ideal for industries such as chemical, oil and gas, power and energy and water/wastewater. By delivering precise and reliable data, these thermometers help optimize processes, reduce operational risks and enhance overall efficiency. Innovations like iTHERM QuickNeck, the quick disconnection technology previously available only as an option for iTHERM hygienic thermometers, are available with all ModuLine models. QuickNeck makes it possible to do a fast, easy calibration – without unwiring and rewiring the sensor.

The ModuLine lineup also offers advanced safety feature possibilities, whether for basic functionality or high-end performance requirements. For example, the available Dual Seal feature incorporates a pressure-triggered safety valve for critical applications – a second process barrier in the event of a thermowell failure or rupture, providing immediate sealing for containment of hazardous media with an alert to the PLC.

ModuLine includes thermometers with or without transmitters and displays, and a variety of process connections such as threaded, compression fitted, socket weld, weld-in and flanged. This versatility ensures there is a model well-suited for the specific needs of various industries, providing tailored solutions for different operational requirements.

Key features of iTHERM ModuLine lineup include:

Unmatched simplicity: These thermometers are designed to reduce complexity and achieve simplicity through ease of selection.

Enhanced safety: Robust sensor designs like iTHERM StrongSens (highest vibration resistance) and thermowells prevent sensor damage and ensure long-term durability, with additional safety features available like Dual Seal or iTHERM TwistWell (helical design barstock thermowell for high velocity applications).

Increased efficiency: Unique sensor technologies and thermowell designs such as QuickSleeve or iTHERM QuickSens assure faster response times to temperature changes

Effortless handling: QuickNeck speeds maintenance and calibration

Perfect fit: A variety of process connections ensure iTHERM ModuLine can meet the specific needs of various industries

The iTHERM ModuLine models include:

  • TM101 (metric): Direct contact thermometer without thermowell, basic functionality, best price/performance ratio.
  • TM111 (metric)/TM112 (imperial): Direct contact thermometer without Thermowell, enhanced with innovative technologies
  • TM121 (metric): Thermometer with welded thermowell, basic functionality with best price/performance ratio
  • TM131 (metric): Thermometer with welded thermowell, enhanced with innovative technologies
  • TM151 (metric)/TM152 (imperial): Thermometer with barstock thermowell, enhanced with innovative technologies
