Colocation/ Multi-Bay Server Rack Cabinet CLC Series from Hammond Manufacturing

UL2416 rated to 3,000 lbs (1,360 kg). Seismic rated to 1,200 lbs (544 kg).

Hammond’s co-location rack cabinet system features four (4) different bay configurations and several roof options. Whether you are leasing the space or want to restrict access to sections of your cabinet, the Hammond CLC Series is loaded with innovative features.

Specifications
  • The cabinet frame is constructed in 14-gauge mild steel with 12-gauge mild steel reinforced corner brackets.
  • Cabinet doors and side panels are constructed in 16-gauge mild steel.
  • Square hole 19″ mounting rails are constructed in 12-gauge mild steel and include rack unit indicators.
  • Where applicable, the divider shelves are constructed of reinforced 16-gauge steel.
    • The shelves are designed to support the most robust of equipment, such as tower servers.
  • UL Listed 2416 load rated to 3,000 lbs (1,360 kg).
    • Freestanding Racks are rated based on a four (4) x multiplier. 3,000 x 4 = 12,000. In this case, the Static Load is 12,000 lbs, and the UL2416 Load Rating is 3,000 lbs.
  • Now Seismic rated up to 1,200 lbs (544 kg) of dynamic load with an Ip factor of 1.5 in accordance with the IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2015, ASCE 7-16, and ASCE 7-10. Requires casters and leveling feet be removed and secured using a seismic bolt-down kit such as the C4K-Z4 (sold separately).
  • Grounding studs bonded to the frame, side panels, and doors. The front and rear studs on the cabinet frame conform to PET.
  • Finished in textured RAL9005 black powder paint. Complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality.
  • TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA.
  • RoHS Compliant.
  • Manufactured in North America within an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility.
PCI DSS Compliance

The CLC series is PCI-Compliant when:

  • Multiple cabinets are connected, and/or the open side is closed in using the appropriate side panel (listed in the accessory table below).
  • The cable manager security plates CLCCMSP are installed.
  • The cable manager security covers CLCCMSC are installed.
Included Components
  • Welded steel frame with factory-installed nylon leveling feet, ground studs, and mounting points for optional casters.
  • Two (2) pairs (Per bay) of adjustable depth EIA-310-E compliant square hole-punched mounting rails.
  • One (1) removable side panel (with 1/4 turn latches). An additional side panel is sold separately.
  • Two (2) (Per bay) perforated front doors (65% open area vented) with locking swing handle.
  • Vented bay divider shelf with removable rear panels for vertical PDU installation.
  • Mounting hardware is not included and is sold separately. They suggest the CAGKIT1032-100.
