Pilz: Safety Gets Transparent!

September 27, 2021

To maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction Pilz is getting very creative. The current supply situation of steel, chips and plastics has become tighter worldwide. Extended delivery times or supply failures can be a consequence of this. The suppliers of plastic granulate have stopped the production of specific granulates and colors or postponed it indefinitely.

Pilz however wants to ensure the supply of its customers also under the most difficult conditions at any time. Therefore, they currently choose unconventional paths: they will temporarily supply some of their products, as scheduled from mid-September 2021, with transparent plastic housings with the same specification and the corresponding certifications. This includes the safety relays PNOZsigma, the small control systems PNOZmulti and the monitoring relays PMDsigma. The characteristic yellow panels of the products remain unchanged.

Pilz will do everything possible to guarantee teir ability to deliver also in difficult times – even if unconventional measures become necessary.
