Global community of CMSEs – Certified Machinery Safety Experts Grows to 6,000 members

The CMSE – Certified Machinery Safety Experts are an international community of machinery safety experts. The six thousandth CMSE certificate had already been awarded by March 2020. So by now there are over 6,000 people worldwide with a CMSE qualification.

360° overview of machinery safety – in just four days

Pilz offers continuing training for CMSE as an expert-level qualification. TÜV NORD takes care of certification in every country, so providing international evidence of the technical competence achieved. You can gain the CMSE qualification over a four-day expert course. The content covers the whole of a machine’s lifecycle: from risk assessment and production of safety concepts through to the actual implementation of compliance strategies.

Guaranteeing a global, standardised safety policy within companies

The course is aimed at specialist staff who are responsible for the design, construction, maintenance or retooling of machinery. Thanks to the CMSE qualification, international safety managers can ensure that their company’s safety policy is implemented globally to the same standard. Once delegates have completed the qualification successfully they will be familiar with the legal and statutory requirements for assessing and maintaining the compliance of new and existing machinery.
