Superior Availability in the Event of Power Failures with Uninterruptible Power Supply

The new innovation in uninterruptible power supplies is the Trio DC UPS from Phoenix Contact for machine building. The combined switched-mode power supply unit incorporates the functions of a UPS and a power supply in one compact housing, thus saving space in the control cabinet.

The device enables direct diagnostics with multicolor LEDs and signal contacts, providing a clear status display. Tool-free wiring with Push-in connection technology ensures quick and easy handling. With its dynamic boost and intelligent battery charging behavior, the Trio DC UPS is particularly robust and reliable. Combining a power supply and UPS in one housing saves space while also providing a very high level of efficiency.

As an option, the UPS can be parameterized and monitored intelligently via interfaces such as RS-485 or USB-C. The battery status (SOH) can be easily read via the LEDs and the battery can be controlled via a button on the front. An external temperature sensor ensures intelligent battery charging behaviour. The dynamic boost with an overload capacity of 150% from the power supply and up to 400% from the battery ensures that systems can continue to operate reliably even during critical moments.
