HANNOVER MESSE to Be a Digital Trailblazer Event

In view of the current developments surrounding Covid-19, Deutsche Messe AG, together with the exhibitors of HANNOVER MESSE, has decided to stage a major world industrial trade fair in a purely digital format next April.

“In close consultation with our most important exhibitor committee, we have decided that organizing a physical trade show is not feasible or justifiable under the given conditions,” said Dr. Jochen Köckler, Chairman of the Board of Deutsche Messe AG “We will therefore move the slider for HANNOVER MESSE 2021 from hybrid to purely digital. In order to give everyone involved planning security and to be able to concentrate fully on the digital features, we made this decision today.”

The digital HANNOVER MESSE will focus on a comprehensive conference program, the digitization of product presentations and software-based business dating. “Virtual visitors will be able to quickly gain an overview of product innovations and use new tools to make direct contact with the companies that are relevant to them,” added Köckler.

In this way, HANNOVER MESSE will offer its exhibitors maximum digital reach and continue to facilitate close exchanges between business, science and politics.
