IronHorse® Jet Pump and Stainless Steel Motors from AutomationDirect

AutomationDirect has added the new IronHorse MTRJ series of jet pump motors to their AC motor lineup. The MTRJ centrifugal jet pump motors offer an economical motor solution and come in a TEFC enclosure with a 56J frame that has a threaded shaft for direct connection to a jet pump. These jet pump motors are available in 120/230 VAC from 1/3 to 2hp and in 208-230/460 VAC from 1/3 to 3hp at 3600rpm. They have a bolt-on – bolt-off base and single-phase models that include built-in thermal protection.

Nidec Launches SynRA, for the US Market, the World’s First Aluminum Cage-equipped, High-efficiency Synchronous Reluctance Motor that Achieves IE5, the Highest Level of the IEC Standard

Nidec Corporation recently announced that it has launched for the US market SynRA (Synchronous Reluctance Motor with Aluminum Cage Rotor), the world’s first aluminum cage-equipped, high-efficiency synchronous reluctance (SR) motor that combines an SR motor with the cage-type induction motor’s basic principles. The cage-type induction motor, used as a general-purpose motor for industrial applications, can be activated when connected to a commercial power supply. In addition, the motor, which does not require an inverter (the device to control rpm), does not cost a lot to introduce, and this is why it is used in fans, pumps, compressors, cranes, elevators, and many other industrial machines

The module is an Axioline P I/O module for use in the Axioline P modular I/O system. It is used to acquire digital signals. The module is a modular I/O device that can be affixed to the Axioline P local bus, to communicate I/O data up to the Axioline P bus coupler, which forms the head of the station. The digital input module collects 24 V DC digital input signals and makes this information available to the bus coupler through the Axioline P local bus.
